Welcome to Fourth Grade! It was so nice to meet so many of you last Thursday. If you were unable to make it please take a moment this evening to look through the important information that was handed out and return the necessary paperwork. The more quickly the paperwork is returned the more efficient our classroom can become and the more effective our communication will be. I thank you in advance for attending to this.
I was able to find a great bargain on pocket folders this weekend (1 cent) so if you haven't purchased those yet please don't. One thing we do need as a class are copy volunteers. If you'd like to help us out please email me today as I would love to have someone come in this week to really get us started on the right foot. Of course there will be many opportunities to help throughout the year that will be discussed at this Thursday's Curriculum Night from 6-8 pm.
Some important reminders for the first week of school:
*Send in a healthy snack and water bottle every day!
*P.E. is Tuesday and Thursday so be sure they wear sneakers
*Lunch is now $1.65
*ALL notes for the office should be placed in their communication folders and messages for me written in their agendas.
*ALL money needs to be in an envelope (lunch, ASP, etc.)
*It's STILL summer and it's HOT!!! Please be sure your child dresses for outside recess as we will try to go out for 15 minutes each day.
*This is a crucial time of year. Let's get off to a great start by communicating any concerns or asking ANY questions that arise.
