Thankgiving break is just around the corner! I hope everyone enjoys some time with friends and family during our week off. Here is a look at what is going on during the month of November.
Phonics-long i spelling patterns (i_e, igh, ie), long o spelling patterns (oa, ow, o_e), and long u spelling patterns (ue, ew, u_e)
Math- We are studying about two and three dimensional shapes. We will also be learning money! We will spend a couple of weeks practicing counting coins and bills as well as making fair trades.
Science-We will be studying sound and will focus on the pitch and volume of sounds.
Social Studies-We will start a unit studying Thomas Jefferson.
