Parents, thank you so much for coming to curriculum night the other night. Here are some quick reminders about what I went over. If you have any questions, please contact me.
This month we will be studying about:
Language Arts-Review of kindergarten skills, beginning and ending vowel sounds, rhyming words, sight words.
Math-Counting sets to 30, even and odd numbers, graphing, tallying, and calendar days of the week/months of the year.
Social Studies- Our global location, maps
Science-Weather and seasons

Be sure to check your child's Take Home folder every night!! This is where I will place important announcements and child's work! Also, be sure to look at the behavior chart, initial it, and encourage great 1st grade behavior!!

It is important that you are reading with your child (this includes you reading to them) each night!

Lastly our lunch schedule has changed. We are eating lunch at 10:54-11:24. I will send out a schedule change in the next couple of days.
