Hi Parents,
Believe it or not April is almost here! Next week is the last week before spring break. The CRCT will begin the Tuesday after spring break, so it is really important to return on time and be rested. I do not want to cause undue stress, but I do want students and parents to be aware that this is a gateway year and students must pass.
The building will be closed to visitors during testing, but the front office will be handling emergencies. Please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep and eats a good breakfast. I have decided not to provide snacks in the am for two reasons.
- Testing starts at 8:15 sharp and some students ride a bus that does not arrive early. If you bring your child to school, please arrive in time for your child to unpack, go to the bathroom, get water, and get settled for testing. Students may be a little nervous, so I do not want them to feel rushed.
- I do not want students to have upset stomachs due to different eating habits.
Thanks so much for working on CRCT practice tests at home! I will send some links for review games next week so that students can be familiar with curriculum we have not had a chance to cover in-depth.
