March is a very busy month and we have a lot going on in and out of the classroom. It is never too early to start practicing for the CRCT, we only have 5 weeks of school until Spring Break and CRCT starts the week that we get back from break. Please take the online tests on the Georgia OAS website to make sure that your child is ready for the test. The individual student logins and passwords were sent home last month.
Mrs. Pappalardo will be teaching our Junior Achievement lessons throughout the month of March, thank you very much for volunteering...it is a wonderful program on Economics and we are looking forward to it. Also, our school's biggest fundraiser will be starting next week, The Boosterthon!! The Boosterthon will be held on Wednesday, March 16th...more information will come home next week. It is a lot of fun and a great way to raise money for our school.
I cannot believe that this 9 weeks is almost over...time is flying by! We are finishing up weight and graphing in math. We are also working on Informational books within literature circles and we will be doing an in class project on informational writing. In science, we are finishing up space with stars and constellations and we have moved on to The American Revolution in Social Studies. The students are loving the American Revolution and you will even see it come to life in our big 4th grade play.
