Can you believe that it is February already?  Please don't forget to have your child do the CRCT online practice!  If you need your username and password, please let me know! 

Here's a look at some of the things we will be learning this month!

Language Arts: plurals, -ing and -ed endings, continued work on different types of nouns, identifying verbs and adjectives in sentences, long vowels, ("when two vowels go walking...") reading comprehension, writing informational paragraphs

Math: finishing up time to the hour and half hour and counting collections of coins

Science: light and shadows, plants

Social Studies: Presidents' Day - Abraham Lincoln and George Washington

Feb. 15th- Heroes Essays are due!

Feb. 18th- President’s Day-no school

Feb. 22nd- Six Flags reading logs due!

Feb. 26th- Technology Night-6-7:30
