Fall is here!

October is a busy month!  We will be working on:

Language Arts: digraphs, beginning blends, main idea, cause and effect, homonyms, contractions, ABC order, and really improving our writing.  (Paragraphs, consistent use of capital letters and periods)

Math - basic 2-d and 3-d shapes, describing objects in space by proximity, position and direction, (near, far, above, below, etc.) continuing our addition and subtraction facts, identifying numbers as groups of tens and ones

Science: Weather and water

Social Studies:  We just finished producers and consumers.  We will be starting on maps and globes soon!
