Welcome to the merry month of March! After so much cold weather, I know we are all looking forward to March 21st, the first official day of spring! The school year is going by very quickly and we now have 52 school days left this year. In that short time, we have a lot to accomplish and need our students to stay motivated and ready to learn.

I hope everyone is logging on to the CRCT testing website and taking grade-level practice tests. CRCT testing will take place April 14th to April 23rd. I do not assign specific tests to my students but you they may practice on any of their particular grade level teachers' tests. In addition, the site has practice tests they can take. I sent home 2nd copies of the website and log-in information. If you still need it, please let me know, and I will send it home again.
Please also reinforce telephone numbers (home and cell phones), addresses, and other important information with your child. Please use any opportunity you have to help your child memorize this info. We did a skill check on this and only 2 out of 7 children knew parent cellphone numbers, home phone numbers, addresses, 911 emergency, and parents full names.
Once again, I would like to thank you all for helping your children be successful at school. I have a great set of parents and I appreciate all of you!
