February has arrived with some cold and freezing temperatures. Once again, please remember to dress your child appropriately. We usually try to go out for recess unless it is raining or just too cold. The students are working diligently on mastering our new math goals. My class are learning about fractions, decimals, triangles and other geometric shapes.
Six Flags Reading Log
Please continue reading daily and filling out Six Flags reading log to obtain a free ticket. Please sign and return the log when your child has reached 360 minutes of reading. Please continue taking the CRCT practice tests online using the password I sent home. Research shows that students who practice are more at ease during testing and perform better. There are a lot of exciting events happening at Mountain View this month. I am looking forward to seeing you all at our annual Spaghetti Dinner and Family Game Night to benefit Relay for Life on Thursday, February 18. Please mark your calendars!
