Happy New Year Students and Families!
First, I must say that the gifts, kind words and holiday wishes from you were very much appreciated, Over the holidays, I enjoyed using the gift cards for shopping and buying special things. Even having them to buy lunch now and then put a smile on my face and made me think of what a wonderful class I have. I felt very special using everything you gave me! Thanks so much.
Now, we are coming back for the second half of the year! It is going to be amazing.
We have a field trip on Wednesday to the Cobb County Fire Safety Village. All students will need to wear their yellow class t-shirts. If you signed up to bring a lunch from home, please remember that everything has to disposable (no lunch boxes).
We have 50 hours recorded in IXL. You still have time to log on some more hours. Practice those math facts. We will really focus on the instant recall of basic addition facts. If you need help logging on or understanding IXL, please let me know. It is such a valuable website and the students will use it in every grade at Mountain View. It will be a requirement for homework each month for the rest of the year.
I look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday!!
