March

   Friday morning, March 7th, will be an exciting time for parents and students.  Our "2nd Grade Friends Musical" will be performed at 8:30.  Please come and watch your child perform.  We will have donuts and coffee (for parents) in our classroom after the performance.

Things of  interest this month are:

*Report Cards will be coming home on March 20th.

*Movie on the Mount is Saturday, March 8th from 5:30-9:00pm.   Backyard Burger will be cooking up delicious hotdogs and hamburgers to raise money for Relay for Life.  Please come to support this cause and to just have some fun family time.

*On March 27th, the International Festival and School Council Silent Auction will be held at 6:00pm.  Mrs. Wykes and I will be auctioning a day at Kennesaw National Battlefield.  We will go hiking, have a picnic, etc.  with four of the highest bidding students.   PLEASE COME AND BID FOR LOTS OF GREAT STUFF!!!

*Mrs. Cherrington will begin teaching the Junior Achievement lessons on Thursday, March 6th.  The lessons will continue for the next five weeks.  This is a huge job and commitment so thank you to Sydney's mom!!
