October News

     Fall has arrived and we are in full swing!   We had a great field trip to Turner Field.  It was exciting to see our class have so much fun.  The parents that went on the trip deserve a huge THANK YOU!   Jackson's dad met us there and took so many pictures and I can't wait to share them with you and our class.  He captured all the fun!

      We are participating in the Pizza Hut Book It! program.  Everyone will get a certificate for a free pizza if they are keeping up with their reading every night. Instead of keeping up with it on another form, please continue to record the minutes read in their agenda.  This will be my record. 

     In math we are studying two-digit addition with regrouping.  Thanks for all your help at home.  Please keep working on your child knowing addition facts.  This helps with the two-digit addition.

    We have two field trips this month.  The Performing Arts permission slip you signed covers one and the other information will be coming soon.

October 26th - Field Trip to the FUNK Museum

October 31st-  Field Trip to Cobb Civic Center to see Firebird (Performing Arts field trip)

Don't forget to come out to Brewster's Night on the 9th.  I will be there eating (I mean selling) ice cream!
