Jump Rope for Heart update

We are in the final push preparing for Jump Rope for Heart on February 9!  Thanks to everyone in the Mountain View community for working with us on the event.  We will accept donations for the American Heart Association through February 9.  Remember, you can also donate online following the directions on your student's envelope.

In conjunction with Jump Rope for Heart, we are working on jump rope skills with all grade levels.  Students have learned and practiced some of the basic jumps.  Grades 2-5 are in the process of a skills checklist to see how many they can master.  K-1 are continuing to master basic jumps.  All grades have a "Survivor" challenge at the end of each class period.  The "Survivors" get to sign their grade level's poster in the gym!

Mr. Jeff Brown is joining us on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the gym as our TOSS student from Kennesaw State University.  He is preparing to follow in his father's footsteps as an elementary physical education teacher.  His eyes, ears, knowledge, and expertise are beneficial to everyone in the gym!
