Welcome to December! I can not believe that we are here already! This year is flying by. The weather (although up and down) is changing ti very chilly weather. Please send a coat for your child.
In Language Arts we are working on narrative writing and adding details to stories. We are also working on inferring, looking ahead and trying to determine what will happen in a story.
In math we are reviewing our facts of addition and subtraction. We are also working on money, place value and representing numbers.
Science is so muc fun with magnets!!!! Play with magnets at home.
Social Studies - We are learning about Lewis and Clark and Sacagawea.

December 16 - Bring in a book for the book swap!!
December 19 - If your child brought in a book, this is the day they get to pick a book~
December 21st - Our classroom winter celebration from 12:00-1:00!!! All parents are welcome to come join the fun!! We are making gingerbread houses!
December 22nd - Final day before the winter break. it is PJ day! Your child can wear pajamas and bring a furry friend! We will also be watching the Polar Express. If you have a DVD of this movie, may we please borrow it?? I will return it that day. Thank you!
