I am so excited to be back! It was wonderful to see the students and hear all the exciting things they learned while I was away.
There are many things that we will be learning about in November and December.
We are going to continue to use the skills and prior knowledge in math to work on money, place value and addition and subtraction.
Reading/Language Arts - We are working on inferring. Using what we have read in a text and making preditions about what is going to happen next. We will continue our work with nouns, verbs, adjectives, antonyms, synonyms, etc...
Writing - We are going to continue to learn to compose, revise and publish our wrtings. We are also working on extending our sentences and compound sentences.
Social Studies - We are learning about Thomas Jefferson. We had such a great time with Ben! You can go to the PebbleGo website at home and learn more about Thomas with your kids! The website is http://cvl.cobbk12.org The username is cobb and the password is bird.
