Welcome to First Grade! It was so wonderful to meet all of you at Sneak-a-Peek. I know this is going to be a wonderful year and I am so excited to watch the students grow and learn. First grade is such a special time!
Please send in a snack each day. The students will have the opportunity to eat their snack first thing in the morning, or right before we go to specials. I let the students decide which time they want to eat.
They may also bring in a water bottle to keep on their desk. Please make sure if your child brings in a water bottle that the bottle is labelled with his/her name and it has a snap top or sports top. This will cut down on accidental spills!
Our lunch time is 10:45-11:15. A detailed schedule of our day and our specials schedule is in the take home folder and we will review it at Curriculum Night.
Curriculum Night is on August 18 at 6:00-8:00pm. At this time, we will go through our curriculum and the ins and outs of first grade.
