Welcome to a New Year!
The following are some important dates for this month:
January 17th- Student holiday
January 19th- Fire Safety Village field trip
January 26th- Book report due
In January we will be studying fractions, solid shapes, and place value through the thousands place. Also, we will learn about nonfiction text conventions, informational writing, and the lives of Martin Luther King Jr. and Jackie Robinson.
Additionally, we will begin a required reading log that will be checked every Monday. This will begin the week of January 10th.
