Number of Books Students Can Checkout: Kindergarten students may checkout one book at a time. Students in first through fifth grades can checkout two books at a time.
Checkout Period: All students may keep books for up to two weeks at a time. Books may be renewed for one additional two week period.
Overdue Books: Students may not checkout additional books if any book is overdue. Late notices are distributed to homeroom teachers periodically.
Lost Books: If a media center book appears to be lost, please have your child come by the media center to pick up a note for parent's signature that promises to pay for the book at the end of the school year if the book cannot be found by that time. Once the media center receives the signed note, students may continue to checkout books. Notice of payment due will be sent to parents in May of each school year for books that remain lost at that point.
Damaged Books: Students are responsible for reimbursing the school for books that are damaged beyond use. Please help us take care of our valuable media center books.
