It’s hard to believe that we are completing the last few days of our first semester! All Mountain View students have worked hard in the music studio and I am excited about their progress!
5th Graders have whole-heartedly grasped the skills of playing the recorder and they are excited about leading and accompanying our annual Holiday Sing-a-long at 8:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22nd in the cafeteria. Due to limited space, parents are not invited to this event. However, parents are welcome to come to our Tuesday and Wednesday (Dec. 20th & 21st) morning rehearsals from 8:15-9:00ish. Please understand the sing-a-long is a yearly event for all of our students and staff. The sing-a-long’s purpose is for our school community to enjoy the camaraderie of singing together and recognizing our custodians and cafeteria workers with our collected “love offering!” It is a TIGHT SQUEEZE seating all students and staff and the Fire Marshal will not allow more! In other words: there’s NO ROOM in the INN! Thank you for your understanding and support!
2nd Semester highlights are:

To all our Mountain View families, have a joyous holiday season and a most wonderful New Year! I count each of your children as one of my richest blessings! Sing with your children, take them to a concert or musical, listen to music, and then discuss your likes and dislikes. This will foster a connection to music as participators, listeners, as well as consumers.
