We appreciate Jim DeBetta for coming in to teach our Junior Achievement lessons this month each Friday. Ask your child about the great lessons that we have. Thank you for sending in the 100th Day of School collection, snack and a daily snack for your child. Kudos to our Guest Readers, Snack Helpers, and Room Parents! We also are so excited about your children reading books with you at home each day. Please make sure that your child knows the title and how to read the entire book before you send it back. This program encourages fluency and confidence in reading. If the book is too hard, please send it back to receive a different one.
We appreciate your support of the school's fundraisers for selling cookie dough and entertainment books.
Thank you so much for your continued support. It's so thrilling to see your children making so much progress and enjoying learning each day. Learning all of the sight words has really helped the children become better readers. Once they learn all the sight words, they will be tested on the spelling of the sight words for enrichment.
It's great that the children are so excited about math and winning medals on www.ixl.com.This website is a great resource for improving and challenging your child's math skills.
Please consider having your child enter the Heroes Writing contest at school, which we have talked about. Thanks for being such incredible parents! Our class is so sweet and smart.
