Welcome back! We hope that you all had a wonderful Spring Break! We're working hard to learn all of the standards that the children need to know before going on to first grade. As we continue to encourage independence and self-help skills, we are now having literacy centers without parent volunteers coming in. We have been so fortunate to have such wonderful and faithful parent volunteers, guest readers, and snack helpers this year, and we are very appreciative of their help. Also, please help your child learn how to TIE their SHOELACES before going on to first grade.
Due to CRCT testing, visitors will not be permitted in the building from April 12th through the 18th. This is from 7:20am until the time that testing is over, which can be unpredictable. Thank you for your cooperation. On those days, we will not be able to have parent helpers, guest readers, or lunch guests. The school office will be available to assist with any urgent needs that might arise.

We really appreciated your wonderful and very generous contributions to the BoosterThon to raise funds for supporting our computer lab teacher and to help buy the new gym floor. Our children have learned so many awesome computer skills and are competent in their abilities. Each day we are amazed at their talents when we use the computers and laptops in literacy and math differentiated learning centers, which the children love doing.
The Foundation is selling tiles for the new gym floor for $10 each. The children have had fun choosing the tiles that they want to purchase.
Thank you to Erin Caimano and Jana Trask for teaching our great Junior Achievement lessons. The children learned so much and really enjoyed them.
NEEDED: wrapped candy treats for our Treat Box (small individual M&M packages, Skittle packages, Blow Pops, etc.)
ALSO NEEDED: toys and items for our Treasure Box (our box is very sparse and the children are so excited when they earn rewards for making good choices and get to go to the Treasure Box).
We appreciate your support and partnership in making your child's kindergarten year be so successful and positive. What a SMART and hard-working class we have, and we're so thrilled to see their progress!
HAPPY APRIL to you all!!
