Welcome to fourth grade! I enjoyed meeting all of you at Sneak-a-Peek and I am looking forward to a great year! Thank you for sending in new school supplies. Your children are well prepared and ready to learn! We will spend our first day getting to know each other, establishing routines, setting goals, and reinforcing expectations. We will then dive right into the curriculum! Together we can assure that your child has a successful and enriching year!
All homework assignments will be written in the agenda. A silver communication folder will be sent home daily with homework papers, a reading log, P.T.A. notes, and letters from administration. Please check the folder daily and return any necessary papers.
A red folder will be sent home every Friday with all completed and graded assignments and a behavior sheet. Please review these papers with your child, sign, and return an empty folder every Monday.
I look forward to seeing you on Curriculum Night on Thursday, August 18 at 6:00 p.m. I will be discussing the fourth grade curriculum, daily schedule, grading system, report cards, classroom management, field trips, and volunteer opportunities.
