This week, we are learning about: U is for United States, Letters & Sounds, Short and Long Vowels, Author/Illustrator, Retelling Stories, Blends, Vowels-short and long sounds, Blends, Rhyming, Describing Words, Months, Days of the Week, Seasons ,Opposites, Compounds, Numbers/Number Words 0-20, Ordering & identifying #’s to 100, Money-students should be able to recognize a penny, nickel,dime, quarter & know their value, Ordinal #’s, Simple Graphs, Measurement-longer/shorter, taller/shorter, heavier/lighter, holds more/less, Sorting, President’s Day, Patriotic Symbols, My Global Address—each child should be able to state their street address, city, state, country and continent—I’ll check this several times weekly until March 18

Important Dates-Parents, please remember to send a healthy snack each day. We are having several children each day with no snack or a snack that they do not like. If you have not returned the field trip permission slip and money, please do so ASAP. Thanks!
