May

My, My, My!  This year has gone by....FAST!  I can not believe we are into May and almost out for the summer.  I can not tell you how much I will miss this class, each child and what they have given to me.  We have smiled, laughed and learned more than I ever hoped!  Thank you for being my partner this school year and may I say what AWESOME children you have! Here are a few things coming this month:

  • Friday, May 9th  (8:30) Kindergarten Performance and Diploma Ceremony
  • Wednesday, May 14th  Field Day (Be sure to put sunscreen on your child, make sure they wear tennis shoes)
  • Thursday, May 22nd  (1:00)  End of Year Celebration
  • Friday, May 23rd  LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Remember:  If you have not done so already, please send in your envelope with your address and TWO stamps attached.  Also, your child may not take anything on the bus the last day of school---so no book bags or lunch boxes please.

Hope to see you soon!   Thank you for everything! :)

April

                                                    April

I hope this finds everyone doing well this April!  As I have wrote in my weekly newsletters, we are focusing on addition and subtraction in math.  We will first work on addition, leading up to subtraction.  The kids LOVE working with the math counters and they are becoming fast at making math problems of their own!

I hope that your child tries some of the suggested activities on my newsletter.  This will reinforce standards and allow your child to talk with you about what he or she is doing.  I have gotten some great work from the kids.

Thank you for all you do!  I appreciate your support and your partnership!

Until May....
