Small Groups
Small groups are continuing to meet to work on the following skills: study skills, social skills, anger management, and a group for children of divorced parents. If your child needs to work on academic or social skills, please give me a call. My number is 770 578-7265.
Parents,
If you are a parent of a fifth grade child, you should have received a permission letter from me about Healthwise. Healthwise is an organization which teaches about human growth and development. A healthcare specialist will come to Mountain View and teach human growth and development lessons on January 6th and 7th. If you would like for your child to be taught these lessons, please complete the permission form and send it back. There wil be a Parent Preview of the Heathwise Curriculum on December 15th and 16th at 8:30.
Immunizations for Middle School
Parents,
Please make sure that your child's immunization certificates are up to date. Your child will need The Georgia 3231 Imunization Form completed. This form must include:
1. Two doses of Measles vaccine (2) doses of Mumps vaccine and (1) dose of Rubella vaccine.
2. Three doses of HEPATITIS B.
3. Two doses of Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine
Your child must also have form 3300: Vision, Hearing and Dental Screening.
Please get these documents in as soon as you can so your child will have an easy transition to middle school.
