Math:M3N5.c Understand the fraction a/b represents a equal sized parts of a whole that is divided into equal sized parts.
M3M2.b Measure to the nearest ¼ inch ½ inch and nearest mm in addition to previously learned inch, foot, yard, centimeter, and meter.
M3N5.d Know and use decimal fractions and common fractions to represent the size of parts created by equal divisions of a whole.

We have been studying adaptations of plants and animals. The students will use this information to determine why it’s important for plants and animals to have adaptations and what would happen if their habitat were to change.
